Canoe Rental Information

On reservoir canoe rentals for non-members are $30 for the day or $20 for a half day (after 3 p.m. or under 3 hours). As well we also have a one hour rental rate of $10.00. The rental fee includes the use of paddles and lifejackets.

Kayak Rentals: Sorry, we do not rent kayaks to nonmembers.

Whether exploring the reservoir or nearby waterways of Weaselhead in a recreational canoe or kayak, or looking for a new outdoor alternative to staying in (or getting into) shape. Make the sport of paddling a pursuit in your life with a low-cost membership to the Calgary Canoe Club.

If you would like to join the Calgary Canoe Club, you can either apply in person, or print the membership form and waiver (PDF Acrobat PDF) and mail them both with a cheque payable to the Calgary Canoe Club.

Hours of Operation
Spring Hours
The boat bays are open Monday to Friday from 4 to 8:30 p.m. in May and June. On the weekends we are open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Boat bay hours are weather permitting, so if the weather is poor please call ahead to make sure we are still open. 

Summer Hours
In July and August the boat bay is open 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday. 

Fall Hours
The boat bays are open Monday to Friday from 4 to 8:00 p.m. in September and October. On the weekends we are open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Closing hours will be altered as daylight hours decrease. Boat bay hours are weather permitting, so if the weather is poor please call ahead to make sure we are still open.
