- For Alberta Sprint Paddlers (Novice to Advanced)
- Mixed gender racing to facilitate more competitive advancements.
- 500m K1, C1, K2 and C2
- C2 and K2 crews to be assembled by coaches following singles.
- Random assignment to heats, Advancements to Semi Finals and then A and B Finals.
- Age Groupings: 1) U14 and 2) Open
