HOUSING: Based on initial interest forms we had booked two large vacation rental homes. Now we have confirmed 8-9 women + 2-3 men - we need only one house. Keeping only the Bayside house (Images Here) lowered the cost. If our numbers grow a bit we will add rooming options. There are 4 bedrooms allowing three for the women and 1 for men. With individual scheduling, there will be a maximum of 9 athletes at any given time. The house is fully furnished and has full kitchen to ease meal preparation and lower cost with shared meal planning. LOWER FEE: Now with only one coach needed and only one house needed, at or very near max capacity, we have recalculated all the costs and have significantly lowered the camp fee by ~ $1000 for full 4 week camp. COACHINGWith the new numbers, a second coach is not needed. Mike will be the coach. CAMP FEEThe cost to attend camp is based on two components: 1) The Shared Cost (coaching and trailering related) - split equally among all athletes. 2) The Weekly Stay Fee. Our aim is a break-even result that will cover all the costs. We have added 5% buffer for currency exchange rate, gas price changes or unforeseen expenses. All fees must be submitted using the standard four-payment schedule. Families needing alternate arrangements can contact us directly. COMMUNICATION:Email and WhatsApp - When completing the interest to attend form, you shared an email to receive updates. A camp WhatsApp chat will be shared with you as well for in camp communication on training plans etc. A second chat will be made for your parents or loved ones to follow along - this chat will not include detailed training that only athletes need but updates on locations, events, occasional images and videos of the group will be shared here. Please ensure you attend the Payment Schedule below. EQUIPMENT:Trailering - The Boat trailer will leave Calgary early on Feb 26th. We will bring a small trailer with singles and doubles. Insurance - Personal boats must be personally insured. CCC does not responsible for non-club boats. Paddles can be transported in the Van. Proof of ownership - When returning boats to Canada - CBSA officers require proof that the boat originated and is being return (not purchased in USA).
