The Prairie Division of Canoe Kayak Canada is held in Regina, SK on Wascana Lake. Our team has enjoyed success this season in Florida Spring Training Camp, the Ted Houk Regatta in Seattle, National Team Trials in Montreal and our home regatta on July 20th. We are now excited for the athletes to give their all in Regina.
The Divisional Champs has club teams come together from the NWT, AB, SK and MB. CCC expects to be one of the largest teams at the event, and although no award is given for team size, it is a victory we shoot for. ‘More people having more fun.’ We depend on every CCC paddler to reach our goal. Please support your teammates and help fill all our crews.
Races are offered in the U12 and older categories. For many new paddlers, the event will be the first chance to experience a full regatta. The Divisional Championships also serves as the qualification event for the U16+ Canadian Club Championships that will be held in Welland, ON at the end of August. Paddlers wishing to attend the Canadian Champs must earn spots here. The Canadian Championships is the biggest of our events each season and what we hope all athletes strive for.
