🐉 Youth Dragon Boat Festival – Registration Info
For Paddlers 16 and Under
We’re excited to get our Youth Dragon Boat team ready for race day! This is a great opportunity for new and returning paddlers to experience the fun of the Calgary Dragon Boat Festival in a supportive, team-focused environment.
📅 Festival Details:
Date: August 8, 2026
Time: Plan to be on-site from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (schedule TBA)
Location: Calgary Canoe Club
💰 Cost:
$20 per participant – includes a team t-shirt and race registration.
No additional fees to enter the Festival.
👥 Teams & Practice:
- Teams will be made up of new and experienced CCC paddlers.
- We anticipate each team will race 2-3 times throughout the day.
- Practice opportunities will be available leading up to the event.
If you are not on the sprint team but have been a camper this summer, you are welcome to join practices the week of Aug 4–7 at no extra charge (just pay the $20 registration/t-shirt fee).

Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend and cheer on the team!
